Hiring for an IT Executive for Mumbai.
Purpose & Scope:
The main purpose and scope of this position is to support the IT team. The IT Executive provides superior quality and immediate technical support to all staff. Effectively troubleshoot and resolve a variety of technical and operational problems and issues experienced by Executive personnel. The incumbent must be able to proactively research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems, not limited to PCs, printers, videoconferencing and collaboration technologies, and potential local network issues, in a timely manner. The position requires an experienced and self-motivated individual with the ability to utilize all their talents, skills, and abilities in a coordinated fashion and consistent with team efforts. The IT Executive must be an excellent communicator and provide the highest level of customer service and deliver the services and solutions that help our Executives to be more productive and enable innovation.
1. Provides daily first-point-of-contact support, monitoring & triage of managed infrastructure, services, applications, & desktop/laptop support using the help desk ticketing system.
2. Working knowledge of server client based ERP/ IPR docketing tools.
3. Assist in customisation /deployent etc of IPR/document managment / docketing tools.
4. Working knowledg of DBMS preferably SQL SERVER
5. Provides remote office support including home office equipment, internet access, and security systems; and provides onsite meeting support where applicable when needed.
6. Deploys and configures standard desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
7. Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
8. Installs and performs minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
9. Maintains records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
10. Enters commands and observes system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
11. Develops training materials and procedures, or trains users in the proper use of hardware or software.
12. Confers with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
13. Prepares evaluations of software or hardware and recommends improvements or upgrades.
14. Serves as facilitator/advocate for any executive request across and within other IT departments (Networking, Telecom, Accounts, Security, etc.)
15. Coordinates with external vendors to complete technology projects and resolve technical issues.
16. Plans, organizes and prioritizes special projects. Assists with various projects and tasks as needed or requested by management.
Performs other duties as assigned:
1. Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 yrs experience in computer operations and/or help desk management.
3. Computer operations and network support experience
4. A+, Network+, MCDST, etc. (preferred, not required)
5. Microsoft Office; Google
6. Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows and Apple OS Desktops and Laptops (Virtual OS and physical) and
7.Mobile Devices (iOS and Android)
8. Basic Networking (wired and wireless) troubleshooting experience (required).
Skills Required:
1. Excellent written/oral communications. (Excellent English).
2. Ability to interact with tact and diplomacy.
3. Must exhibit attention to detail with demonstrated; organizational and planning skills.
4. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Ability to work independently in a virtual environment with minimal supervision.
6. Must be self-Motivated and self-directed - A goal-oriented team player with the ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
7. Must have the ability to think ahead and anticipate needs and/or issues/problems that may arise to mitigate any technical risks.
8. Must be able to work flexible hours to provide support as needed.
