Job Description

Experience: 12+ years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Private Public Hybrid Cloud [AWS, Azure Google] architecting, designing, building and testing Cloud platforms. Often large and complex projects, with inputs from multiple technologies and domains (compute, network, storage, availability, scalability, operability, monitoring, security).

• Cloud Migration analysis, approach and plan that supports the migration of workloads from one data centre / cloud environment to another data centre / cloud environment.

• Data centre Infrastructure; new deployments, refresh and upgrade projects

Data Centre Architect Skills Experience

• Data Centre Architect should have a minimum experience level of 6 years, with evidence of exposure to complex Enterprise data centre projects during this time

• Provide technical leadership on the programme of work or project

• Own technical elements on a solution

• Deployment of an architectural solution within the programme

• Point of contact to EM and Lead architect relating to technical Architecture

• Excellent awareness of current IT trends and products

• Work within an Architecture governance model

• Experience working on and have delivered complex Cloud, Data centre transformations for clients

Standard Skills Required:

• Strong Communication skills (written and verbal) in English

• Proven track record working with clients

• Ability to converse with various stakeholders at different levels

• Have the mindset to challenge and discuss decision points

• Demonstration of a wide Infrastructure Industry knowledge on various technical products

• Capable of delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders

• Understanding of Project and Programme Governance

• Good working knowledge of processes and procedures (e.g. DELIVERY, ITIL)

• Ability to manage and control technical risks and work with assumptions
