Executive / Senior Cost Manager - MEP @ Gleeds Consulting

Job Description

BE Electrical & Electronics with minimum 10 years of work Experience.

The responsibility of the candidate may include

Pre Contract

*Assisting on feasibility studies and suggests procurement methodologies

* Preparation of Schematic / Design Development / final cost plan, provide value engineering suggestions

* Validation of detailed bill of quantities for various sub trades, preparation of contract document

* Preparation of Rate Analysis of tendered items / obtain quotes for specialist sub contractors

* Participate in analysis of the tender, Negotiate with Contractors and recommend through tender report to the client

* Compilation of Contract conditions and documents

Post Contract

* Checking measurements, Preparing/Checking running Bills, Certifying Payments of the various Agencies/Sub-contractors of, company, Monitoring Project costs, cost to complete work

* Preparation of variation reports and issuing change orders to the contractors

* Able to anticipate cost to complete the works with respect to revised drawings and site conditions and project financial implication to the client on regular basis

* Tracking of bills & proper maintenance of records

* Taking ownership of the site based team / teams and provide guidance to the site based quantity surveyors in carrying out their duties.

* Assisting in Monthly cash flow forecast for MEP

* Negotiating and agreeing to close MEP final accounts / claims

* Knowledge of current Market Rates of material/Labour, including rate analysis & certifying Bills

Contracts

* Assist QS/Site QS / Jr. QSin all matters pertaining to commercial activities and contracts administration, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

* Review of MEP tenders /proposals for compliance with standard contract Terms & Conditions.

* Drafting/Compilation contract documents in accordance with client / company policies
