Job brief We are looking for a capable candidate to head our career counselling and college placements division. The role will be responsible to help students articulate their academic achievements, develop their portfolio, ensure career readiness and develop personal or social competencies through a comprehensive counselling program.
Responsibilities
End to end ownership of the career counselling and college placements cell Develop a comprehensive, long-term career counselling program and calendar Provide early interventions in facilitating students career choices and decisions Lead a small team of counsellors to implement and facilitate the career counselling program Provide maximum exposure to students by building marquee University and Industry interfaces Build a system to provide personalized and individual counselling. Value and respond to the diversity and individual differences of students Ensure equitable access to opportunities for all students Provide direct support services through structured conventions Collaborate and consult with parents, teachers, community organisations and other stakeholders Perform assessments, interpret tests and study student records Gather and analyse data to measure results Develop structured reporting mechanisms for all stakeholders
Requirements
8+ years of proven impact in college placements for school students (International + ICSE board) Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to build and lead a team Integrity and professionalism Ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student pool Working knowledge of various counselling models, practices and resources Highly data driven and substantial analytical skills Tech Savvy with an excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Sound judgement and emotional intelligence Masters degree in School Counselling
