We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical consultant, D365 Business
Central/Navision.
Position: Senior Technical consultant (D365 Business Central/Navision)
Experience: 5 Yrs to 10 Yrs
Location: Bangalore
- At least years 5-8 years Experience in Dynamics technical design and development (Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, Business Central, AL Programming)
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership position
- Should have good knowledge of Business Central modules
- Should have Business Central Admin centre knowledge
- Minimum 4 end to end implementations with Microsoft D365 Business Central/Navision.
- Strong skills on C/AL, C#, SQL server, HTML, .NET, Visual Studio IDE
- Ability to develop and maintain product code in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central technologies: AL on BC 15 or above, C/AL
- Implement modules for ERP functionality built in multiple products by assessing requirements, following test driven development practices with top quality mindset.
- Development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV versions 2016
- Further Technical experience with SQL Server, BI and Reporting, Azure DevOps and Azure platform services
- Hands on with C/SIDE Development/C-AL (Creating and Editing NAV Report, Debugging technical errors)
- Good to have experience of working on the Microsoft LCS framework
- Experience in data migration (third party tools, Atlas and custom development)
- Experience in integration development (web services, .net custom client-server applications, knowledge of standard web services and integration protocols Data Ports and RapidStart tool, SOAP, JSON, REST, SSIS, direct SQL, Azure logic apps)
- Knowledge of Azure development, Native Azure services and structure, Azure SQL
- Experience on the Power platform Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate.
- Experience of working on Azure DevOps
- Experience in environment and release management (ALM, TFS, Build processes, Environment management, Installation and configuration of Business Central/Navision and related components)
- Should have good understanding in migrations in D365 and older versions of Navision.
- Working knowledge of process development and industry specific best practices
- Participate in the management of the ERP system life - cycle, including performing analysis (where applicable), driving software architecture and design, development, integration and unit testing for major, minor and maintenance releases
- Create and review architecture models for business processes and services
- Ability to organize, prioritize estimate and deliver tasks meeting deadlines
- Managing, resolving, monitoring performance issues within D365 environment.
- Building / Managing a team of developers, critically reviewing work in order to both ensure code quality and provide ongoing training / mentoring to developers.
- Proven understanding of security, efficient code reuse, and software design
Qualifications:
- B.E/ B. Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. (CS)/ MBA
- Valid Microsoft certifications (MS SQL Database, Dynamics Navision/Business Central) would be an added advantage.
- Good English skills (written and verbal), other languages welcome depending on location
- Excellent communicative to work with internal and external resources
- Hands-on, committed, team player with a clear emphasis being able to work independently, driven and enthusiastic.
