Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Work with business partners to define requirements and logic for ETL processing.

Build ad-hoc SQL to analyze data and possible solutions for the requirements.

Translate ETL requirements into formalized designs and mapping documents and perform development

Develop SQL Server stored procedures & SSIS code to execute the design.

Develop scripts in Python.

Design SQL Server tables and Teradata tables and views to store and present data.

Perform unit test cases and run validation on the views to ensure data quality.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

5 - 7 years of total experience in full software development life cycle (SDLC) implementations

4+ years of experience with advanced SQL and T-SQL stored procedure , SQL Server stored procedures writing.

Hands-on experience of code development in SSIS ETL Tool

Hands on experience in Python

Experience of writing software requirement specifications.

Excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills in a corporate environment.

Ability to communicate technical requirements to non-technical business partners

Specific Qualifications (if required)

Excellent at translating business requirements into functional design specifications

Strong knowledge of best practices around Data Warehousing

Strong data modeling skills (logical and physical)

Experience with SQL Server Enterprise 2016 or Teradata a plus

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or qualified Data Analysis or Developer experience
