As a Workday Integration Developer, you will join our Workday Integrations team to design, develop, test and implement various types of Workday integrations. The role requires interaction with other IT/People team members, responding to requests and providing integration solutions. An agile, flexible approach to changing business requirements and deliverables is needed in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test integrations within the Workday architecture
- Analyze and translate business specifications and change requests into technical specifications
- Ensure integrations function as designed based on business requirements
- Consult with business and technical teams about interface requirements, design and maintenance; collaborate on design decisions
- Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, and execute changes to existing integrations
- Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices
- Understand and ensure data security, privacy and data quality in integrations is maintained
What Were Looking For:
Soft Skills:
- Strong understanding of Workday modules especially Core HR, Recruiting, Time and Absence, Business Processes, Organizational Hierarchies and Integrations Security
- Experience developing Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Advanced Custom Reports and Document Transforms) is mandatory
- Experience in building integrations using Workday Web services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
- Good knowledge on implementing and debugging Workday Studio Integrations
- Experience working in XML, XSLT, Workday Custom Reports and Workday Custom Objects
- Experience supporting any integration failures in the production environment
- Knowledge of Agile approaches to software development and ability to put key Agile principles into practice to deliver solutions incrementally
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong oral and written communication

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering, or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience as Workday Integration Developer
- Ability to collaborate with business and technology teams to create practical, robust and scalable solutions meeting the business and technology goals.
- Workday certification is a plus
