JOB TITLE: AM/Manager - F&A
REPORTING TO: Senior Manager
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Accounts Payable, Construction AP, USE Tax, Client Communication, Team Handling & Mentoring, Solutions consulting
EDUCATIONAL QULAIFICATION: Graduate/PG in Commerce
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 5-8 years
MANDATORY SKILLS:
- Four or more years of people management experience
- Experience of US GAAP/UK GAAP/ IFRS and varied accounting/enterprise software
- Experience in multi-jurisdiction process transitions
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Proven experience of direct interaction with US/EMEA clients
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to handle concerns and non-conformities independently
- Ability to work in a 24X7 operations
- Intermediate to advance knowledge of MS Office

- Savvy, with common sense and excellent intuition
- Ethical, responsible, and sound judgment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage processes such as Accounts Payable, Construction AP & Use Tax & offer solutions as per the business requirements to the client
- Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information, ensuring accuracy of financial information
- Manage workflow and optimize resource utilization ensuring seamless service to the client
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company/client workflows and service delivery standards
- Act as a liaison between the team and the client to proactively meet information needs, provide error and dispute resolution and meet client SLAs
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, clear communication & completion
within budgets - Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training curriculums to help on-board new associates
- Help define their quarterly team goals, conduct quarterly performance evaluations and help team achieve their objectives
- Design Performance Improvement Plans to help improve underperforming associates
- Take ownership of additional projects and tasks outside regular scope
- Drive L&D initiatives within the team to upskill and cross-train associates
- Create and maintain documents from an ISO 27001 Information Security Management Standard
