A dynamic and enthusiastic having demonstrated capabilities at the top-level on the implication of IT services across Big Data Analytics preferable in Infotainment domain.
Strong Interpersonal Communication/Presentation skills and leadership qualities with the ability to manage projects single handedly.
Strong in understanding client requirements, problem solving trouble-shooting skills.
Flexible and versatile to adapt to any new, fast-paced environment, changing requirements.
Good exposure to Hadoop, Big Data, Analytics.
Mastery in Java programming, JEE, OOAD/OOPS/UML.
Proficient with Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns.
Experience with a range of big data architectures, such as Hadoop, MapReduce Programming, Pig, Hive or other big data frameworks.
Broad understanding and experience of real-time analytics, ETL jobs, NoSQL data stores, data modelling, data management and analytical tools, languages, or libraries (e.g. R, Mahout).
Expertise in design / developing platform components like caching, messaging, event processing, automation, transformation and tooling frameworks.
Experience working with Amazon Web Services or other cloud-based hosting environments, EC2, S3, RedShift etc.
Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs (ie. Apache, Hbase, Google, Hadoop) through server-side applications.
Exposure to BI integration with tools like Tableau.
Experience with Spring framework is desired.
Background in implementing n-tier, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and MVC architecture.
Experience in developing RESTful Web Services, SOAP services both on Server Client side.
Expertise with some or all of Apache, JBoss / Tomcat or other application servers.
Experience with RDBMS like Postgres ORM techniques.
An ability to understand and write scripts in shell or other scripting language.
Solid understanding of GC and memory management (optimizing GC through parameter tuning and through coding practices that generate minimum garbage)
Code tuning and performance optimization of low latency high volume application
Experience with Apache, SVN (for revision control), Maven, Jira.
Experience building and maintaining automated tests using Junit.
Well versed with tools for: Development, Refactoring, Unit Testing, Design, Data Modeling, Profiling, Benchmarking.
Must have Architectured and Delivered at least one Enterprise Class Analytics Application End to End.
Experience in Agile/ Iterative development projects and leading small teams.
Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, GitHub and other similar open source project management tools are must have.
Prior experience of working with remote off shore product development team is a plus.
