Job Description
Full Stack Developer:
In Woundtech, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer who is a highly-skilled software programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Developing and front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties. Full Stack Developers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.Primary Responsibilities:
- Developing innovative cloud-based web applications.
- Front-end development in ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Express.js, and other technologies.
- Back-end development in Node.js, MongoDB, and other technologies.
- Working with the team to perform requirements gathering, detailed design, coding, unit testing, bug resolution, deployment, and documentation.
- Active participation in our agile methodology including attendance at scrums, demos, retrospective, and planning sessions (story pointing).
- Participating in our change management process.
- Meeting with product owners, stakeholders, and other parties to gain insight on product functions and features and provide new ideas that could drive the product forward.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field, or 5+ of IT work experience.
- Minimum 2+ years experience in React and Node.JS
- Knowledge of scrum/agile practices.
- Preferred experience designing web-based systems for cloud deployment in AWS/Azure or equivalent.
- Experience unit testing web-based systems.
- Very deep knowledge of JavaScript on the front and back end including Node.js.
- Very deep understanding of the React framework.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
- Knowledge of security practices for web development.
- Knowledge and experience in code check-in (git/GitHub/bitbucket/svn, etc).
- Experience in Typescript and GraphQl is a plus.
Key Relationships:
1. Directly Supervised by Tech Lead/Manager.
2. Interacts regularly with BA, Immediate Dev & QA Team members.Essential Functions:
1. Mental Requirements include General, Visual, and Analytical skills.
2. Excellent troubleshooting skills are critical for success in this role. Work Conditions:
1. On-call availability during the week with occasional weekend work.
2. Work requires a willingness to occasionally work a flexible schedule.
