Job Description
Position: SQL Developer with Power-BI
No. Of positions: 5 Five
Location: Work from Home Fulltime - Permanent
Daily Call Evening Between 9:00 TO 1:00 AM for two hours Call with USA Client.
Responsibilities:
- Developing complex SQL queries, views, procedures, and triggers with a deep understanding of indexing for optimization.
- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to develop strong relationships and partnerships.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision or assistance to complete tasks. Preparing documentation and specifications.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and integrity.
- Recommend and lead an implementation for improvements to SQL Server configuration.
- Partner with software development teams to provide technical insights into schema, queries & stored procedure design.
- Understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Scrum and Agile methodology.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- 3+ years of SQL development experience.
- Strong proficiency with SQL Server SSIS and SSRS. Power BI and M-Query knowledge is a definite plus. Exceptional skill in the design and development of SQL Server tables, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues like integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, etc.
- Proficiency in optimization techniques & performance tuning, understanding the benefits & disadvantages of normalization & denormalization. Skilled in working with poorly documented source databases and understanding the source schema by examining the data itself.
- Experience in designing database solutions and capable of troubleshooting common database issues.
- Experience in designing efficient database solutions for loading and transforming a large volume of data.
- Proficiency in optimization techniques & performance tuning, understanding the benefits & disadvantages of normalization & demoralization.
- Performance Tune database applications & schemas for performance & scalability ensuring security, and availability of databases.
- Familiar with common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
