Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with onboarding the applications to the automated continuous pipeline framework
• Ensure a consistent and fast deployment pipeline
• Provide various administration, maintenance and support activities
• Continuous monitoring and improvement of infrastructure for performance, stability, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure software deployment readiness
• Work on Actimize RCM upgrade.
• Run database scripts, configure web instances, work with DEV/QA teams to move things forward and work with vendor to report issues and acquire/apply patches.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong devops engineering experience with automated build tools, continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts.
• Experienced in Agile development lifecycle
• Minimum 3 years of devops experience.
• Hands-on experience with the following:
• Programming languages: Python, Shell, Perl and SQL

Database platforms:

• DB2/Sybase/MSSQL

SCM tools:

• GIToActimize RCM solution

Operating Systems:

• Linux/Unix

Web servers such as:

• Apache and Tomcat

Good knowledge of:

• Actimize AIS solution

Desired Technical Skills:

• Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk and JProfiler

Required Aptitudes

• Ability to work with development teams and influence them to adopt agile processes as part of their SDLC life cycle
• Ability to add value by bringing new ideas to the teams and taking the initiative in improving the pipeline.
• Ability to take new requirements from the field to bring back to the core team and work with the core team to build additional tools and automations
• Passion for innovating and using technology to find creative solutions to optimize systems.

Educational qualification and experience:

• Bachelor degree in engineering/computer science or MCA from recognized institution

Other Skills / Expectations:

• Must be ready to work in 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM Shift
• Must be ready work in Client Location
• Bangalore Bellandur
