Shop Quality Engineer - - Thermax Limited

Greetings for the day !!

I would like to inform you regarding an Opening with Thermax Limited for Shop QC Engineer

Experience : 3 - 4 yrs preferable from fabrication shop

Work Location : Sricity,AP.

Qualification : BE Mechanical

Languages : English, Tamil , Telugu is mandatory.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Handling of shop inspection including stage inspection and final job inspection up to dispatch in shift wrt Manufacturing route sheet, drawings, flow process chart

2. Maintaining process compliance through inspection for defined processes

3. Inspection and coordination for coded jobs under ASME/PED

4. Liaison with Third Party Agencies and customer

5. Handling of inspectors on second party contracts for Vendor Inspection

6. Identify implementation and sustenance of process/Product improvements.

7. Documentation as per defined scope job specific/Customer Specific

Desired Candidate Profile :

1. Should be BE Mechanical Graduate

2. Comfortable working in shop and shifts

3. Should have time Management

4. Should have People management in shop

5. Should have Customer Management

6. Orientation towards improvements

Skill Requirement :

1. Fabricated component Inspection

2. Welding processes basic, advantages, limitations, welding inspection

3. Use of measuring Instruments Tape, Vernier, Micrometer, Bore gauge, Weld Gauges

4. NDE techniques advantages, limitations, acceptance criteria

5. Product knowledge

6. Should be well versed in Manufacturing processes

7. Interpretation of Codes & Standards ASME /PED etc

8. Should have good Drawing reading interpretations

9. Quality Systems

10. Hands on experience with Microsoft Excel, Word

11. Should have ERP knowledge (Desired)
