Job Description

Job Details :
To provide mechanical engineering support in carrying out various maintenance activities.
To assist in development and implementation of maintenance management programs, engineering studies, and capital projects to maintain and enhance life, efficiency and reliability of aux equipments of the power plant.
To assist in planning, execution and procurement activity.
To carry out route cause analysis of equipment / sub system failures and to provide necessary assistance using latest maintenance technics to improve equipment / sub system reliability and availability.
To read and interpret mechanical drawings. To carry out vaarious activities such as equipment overhaul, alignment, pressure part replacement, erection and commissioning etc.and fault diagnosis from equipment history data and type of failures etc.
To carry out maintenance / trouble shooting / condition monitoring of various equipments of coal based thermal power plant.
Diagnosis and fault analysis
To guide subordinates in the area of safaty precautions / procedures for working on equipments.
Preparation of specificatio, procurement of spares, Tender preparation for various contract jobs
Liasion with the statutary authorities such as boiler inspector and other agencies.
To provide direction and training to the subordinates and peers as required.
Preparation of SOPs for maintenace activities. Must have attended training regarding best maintenance practices.
Knowledge of Energy Management system will be an added advantage
Knowledge of Energy efficent operation and Mntn practices

Qualifications : B E ( Mechanical)
Experience : ? Reputed Organizations ? Having experience in Thermal Power plant having capacity
