Software Engineer in Test II - Delhi - Chegg

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Working with developers and product managers to understand requirements and use cases.

• Analyse requirements and design, build and execute test cases to assure the quality of the application under test.

• Creating a test plan and test cases during design and implementation of cross-channel features including functional and non- functional scenarios

• Implementing and maintaining automated test suites for integration tests, API tests, UI tests and system tests.

• Work with engineering teams towards continuous quality improvement.

Required Skills & Qualification:

• B.E., B.Tech , M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

• 3 + years of experience in QA automation and testing

• Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and test-driven development .

• Good understanding of databases, SQL /NOSQL and application servers.

• Experience with writing test plans and test cases

• Experience with browser-based UI automation with Selenium

• Experience on Robot framework is plus

• Experience in RESTful Webservices testing and Automation.

• Experience in CI tools like Jenkins/Gitlab

• Experience with Version Controls tools like GIT/Gitlab/Bitbucket

• Experience with Python is must

• Proven ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, iterative product definition and development environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Agile methodology and the ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and continuous improvement.

• Self-starter and possess strong self-motivation .

• Proven ability to drive cross-team technical discussions and decision making

• Desire to seek continuous improvement in the quality assurance processes.
