Job Responsibilities:

• Experience in working with various cloud service and deployment models from design to implementation and support (ie: IaaS, PaaS, XaaS, on-premise, off-premise, etc.)
• Expertise in integrating various complex systems and processes using different technologies
• Good understanding and expertise with cloud orchestrators, configuration management mechanisms and other automation/configuration and process implementation frameworks
• Design, Development and implementation of the automation and services developed in various cloud platforms (primarily VMware, but not bound to) and service models

Needed technical skills:

• Strong understanding of vRealize Automation, vRealize Orchestrator, Log Insights, Operations Insight, vSphere and vRA APIs
• Ability to write workflows and blueprints using vRO, Chef and VMware converged blueprint
• Excellent knowledge on scripting languages - JavaScript, Python etc.,
• Experience with building REST APIs and integrations with other cloud and non-cloud technologies
• Solid understanding of Cloud fundamentals
• Hands on experience on one with various Cloud Providers: IBM Softlayer, AWS, Azure, etc.
• understanding of NSX, VSAN is a plus

Soft skills:

• Strong spoken and written communication skills
• demonstrated ability to work in large teams with geo spread
• ability to lead small teams technically
• hands-on
