Founded in 2005 and with offices in New York and New Delhi, the firm focuses on Index Development, Index Calculation, Analytics & Research and combines these services in a holistic, customized approach that is unique to the industry and provides maximum benefits to our clients. In 2009, we launched our first indices that serve as the underlying benchmarks for ETFs. Since then, we have successfully developed and licensed a multitude of indices to clients globally, offer real-time and end of day calculation services, and provide many fund managers with tailor-made research and analytics.
Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Gurgaon
We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade web applications including anything between complex groups of back-end services and their client-end counterparts. You will be part of a software team that works on mission-critical applications.
Java Developer Responsibilities:
Developing and testing software.
Designing and implementing Java-based applications
Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
Producing detailed design documentation.
Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
Developing multimedia applications.
Developing documentation to assist users.
Ensuring continuous professional self-development.
Java Developer Requirements:
BE/masters degree in computer science.
Proven hands-on experience in Java development.
Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms .
Good to have experience in any of front-end technology like AngularJS/ReactJS.
Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
Experience in the Spring Framework.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
Must have experience in RESTful API.
Good to have experience in microservices.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/SVN.
Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle.
