Role Responsibility :
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the Highway and its assets in good condition to ensure safety and comfort to the road users in line with the CA; To prepare the maintenance budget, conduct regular inspections of all the assets, maintenance and operational equipment at the plaza, along the route. To efficiently mobilize men and material. To prepare estimates for COS
Job Description:-
1. Scheduling inspections and routine maintenance activities for the
upkeep and longevity of the structures.
2.Carrying out checks and analysis in structures as per schedule
especially the critical pre and post monsoon checks to ensure the
structures are in good condition.
3.Ensuring all requirements, obligations and submissions as per the
Concession Agreement regarding structures are met with.
4.Planning routine maintenance activities to prolong the life of the
structure.
5. Ascertaining the road map for rectification of defects emerging from
inspections.
6.Co-ordinating with a third party consultant for carrying out specialist
inspections and restoration works.
7.Co-ordinating with vendors to rectify major and minor defects found
during inspection.
8.Preparing Structure Inspection and Maintenance Reports as per the
requirements of CA
9. Monitoring and Efficacy analysis of maintenance procedure post
rehabilitation of structures
10. Ensure timely submission of the Inspection report to the
authorities as per the Maintenance Calendar/ CA obligations
Specific Experience:-
6-8 years in Highway Construction for projects below 100km and 10-12 years of
experience on projects b/w 100- 250km
8-10 ; 12-15 years of Overall Experience
Looking for candidate who have experience working in National Highway Project
