- Preparation of work order for sub-contractor with their planning of requirement at site.
- Study of site and Preparation of DPR(s).
- Review, check and evaluate the Contractors time schedule of works;
- Should be able to prepare DPR / MPR for internal and external submissions and manage contractual issues proactively
- Timely reporting of work schedule and progress and ability to identify the critical issues and update the project manager.
- Monitor the work progress, compare to the accepted program of work and report to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with the Planning Engineers of Independent Engineers (PMC) and the Contractor on all scheduling issues and progress.
- Prepare weekly, monthly (or any period agreed with the Project Management & Construction Management) reports about the status of construction progress.
- Evaluate, and forecast project progress and performance against the established accepted / amended schedule with critical milestones;
- Assess the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages;
- Inform the Project Manager and Independent Consultant of any potential delays in the project completion or the milestones;
- Participate in the assessment and analysis of time related claims by the contractor.
- Should be responsible for Preparation, checking and billing for various Works, Materials and Services.
- Coordination with site team for collection of data and documentation with respect to Invoices and coordination with Auditors for resolving billing requirements and assuring fulfilment for the same.
- Should be able understand contractual requirements and similarly should be able to collect & coordination for respective contractual documentation.
- Shall have Basic understanding of Bank Guarantees, retentions, Invoices, RA Bills, test certificates, contractual checking, debit notes, Advances, Recoveries, Taxes and payment certificates associated with Billing process with respect to orders and Contracts.
- Coordination with Finance department and assurance of fulfilment of all formalities and documentation for smooth payments.
- Shall be able to perform document control activities related to Billing.
- Should have the knowledge of IS 1200 Code
- Should have the knowledge of Tender analysis
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Commercial awareness
- Team working and communication skills
- A good working knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal Regulations are important.
- Minimum of 6 years related experience in Road and Highways, Bridge projects is a must.
- Experience and demonstrated skill in supervising cost estimates, cost control, and overall project reporting activities.
- Knowledge of Quality and Safety.
- Preparation of S curve in context to project schedule. (Preferred) Preparation of MIS.(Preferred)
