Job Description

Breakthrough is looking for a dynamic, result oriented individual to strengthen its Corporate Fundraising efforts. The person will acquire and strengthen relations with corporate clients that are looking to create sustainable impact in the lives of women and girls.


Responsibilities:

The position is primarily responsible for driving the Resource Mobilisation teams efforts in acquiring new CSR clients from both private and public sector companies in India. The position will be responsible for meeting the CSR/ HR Heads at various corporates/Public sector undertakings (PSUs) to make pitch presentations, creating customized proposals, key account management of existing corporate donors, as well as for donor servicing, query resolution and grant reporting.


Specific areas of work:

  • To devise a targeting and prospecting strategy so that companies of the right profile are approached
  • To set up and hold meetings with the senior management teams (such as HR head, CSR head, Marketing head and Head of Corporate Affairs) of potential corporations / PSUs; to explain Breakthroughs work and focus areas.
  • To explain various avenues, ideas and opportunities to explore mutual areas of interests with potential corporates
  • To represent Breakthrough in different corporate forums and events, CSR seminars and conferences, nationally and internationally, to network and with prospective corporates and improve the visibility of the organization
  • Create and update the prospect trackers, monthly proposal trackers, and weekly meeting calendars and submit to Head Corporate Partnership
  • Develop proposals, presentations and concept note for applying for funds/grants.
  • Correspond with donors regarding the finalization of proposals, preparation of MOUs and any other queries.
  • Deal directly with the donors to update them with monthly/quarterly updates and reports of activities and financial.
  • Engage in sustainable efforts to build long term relationships with potential donors.

Desired Qualification, Skills and Experience:

  • Post-Graduation; MBA in Marketing/Sales (preferred)
  • 7 to 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and marketing skills.
  • Should have good knowledge of the CSR funds, foundations and grants etc.
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional Interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and motivate others
