SW Sales Engineer II (Identity and Access Management)-Quest Software


Roles and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for all technical sales of the Quest platform management and OneIdentity solutions. We are looking for a Sales Engineer to support selling. You are required to support partners, manage opportunities, customer visits, demo and proof of concept (POC), certification training, product updates, product management communication and troubleshooting.


This position reports to the SW Regional Sales Sr. Manager- India.


  • Pre-sales support to help sales to clear technical issues to close deals
  • Propose solutions to address customers pain points
  • Sell against competition
  • Solution demo and proof of concept
  • Troubleshooting
  • Problem escalation and follow-up to resolution
  • Manage and support partners
  • Training both product updates and certification training

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Understanding of O365, AD, Exchange and Sharepoint infrastructure and architecture
  • Understanding of Identity management and Access management prior experience in similar domain
  • Understanding of migration landscape and relevant technology with Microsoft platform knowledge
  • Understanding in creating, RFPs, RFQs, Bid Tenders, Scope of work, Pricing, etc. for Microsoft and Identity management technologies
  • Exposure to security framework and security domain technology and key influencers
  • Prior experience working with Indian Partners and SI to develop and customise solution as per customer objectives
  • In-depth experience on Microsoft O365 technologies and Identity and access management
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Sales orientation and problem solving skills
  • 10+ years of working experience.
