Role Summary
The role requires recruit and build the team as well as execute and deliver the assigned development projects. The team leaders technical skill is critical for the teams success and she/he will need to do both design and implementation work.
Responsibilities
- Master of Science.
- At least 12 years experience of software development
- At least 5 years as team leader for small to medium size teams
- Experience to work in/with other cultures.
- Have respect for deadlines and achieve targeted results whilst working individually.
We are looking for a seasoned full-stack developer to build and manage web infrastructure on AWS. Successful candidates shall have a minimum of 10 years experience with all the skills listed below. Candidate shall be responsible for front end and back end architecture of our web platform, this also includes settings web coding standards and other best practices. We also expect candidates to know CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
This web platform shall be used for visualizing GIS, 2D/3D (unreal streams) data and data from other drawing packages, experience in same or similar fields is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
This is an independent contributor role of full stack developer where candidate shall be responsible for architecting and developing server less web applications on AWS which is both scalable and performant.
Key Competencies / Skills
- Proficient in data structures and algorithms
- HTML, CSS, Javascript (advance level)
- Working knowledge of NodeJS
- Good experience in developing cloud or server less application in AWS (or similar)
- C#, Python (desirable)
- React or similar framework
- Working knowledge of Git, Git Workflow (desirable)
- DevOps and CI/CD (desirable)
- Good to know microservices and related patterns
- Good to know SQL or similar database
- Agile methodologies.
- Good written and oral communication.
- Contribution to open source projects (good to have).
- Good analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably computer science) or Master of Computer Application (MCA).
