Job location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Educational Qualification: BE/B Tech/Bsc in computer science, engineering or relevant field;
MSc/ME/MCA will be a plus.
Work experience:
1. Must Have expertise in: MEAN (MongoDB/ Express.js- Angular 4+/Node.js)
2. 7 to 10 years of experience in Software Development with Unit Testing.
3. 2 years of experience in software architecture and solution design for large-scale internet applications.
4. Excellent knowledge on Open Source technologies like NoSQL (MongoDB), Data Formats (XML / JSON), JavaScript
Frameworks (Angular), RxJs, JQuery, CSS, HTML5, modern JavaScript-ES6+ or Typescript , in memory databases
(Redis), Build tools (angular-CLI/ webpack)
5. Having Experience in Creating SPA / PWA or Web Components using HTML5, Angular, LESS/SASS.
6. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests (TDD) using jasmine, karma, protractor, mocha, chai,
etc.
7. Must have strong hands on experience with API Development and DevOps.
8. Experience with MicroServices and Service oriented architecture (SOA).
9. Ability to translate highly complex business requirements into scalable technical design.
10. Strong Understanding of Software design principles, Industry Best Practices and Standards.
11. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented concepts and Design Patterns.
12. Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple
environments and operating platforms.
13. Candidates with prior .Net MVC, SQL experience but with current MEAN Stack development experience will be
considered.
14. Should be well-versed with clean code principles (DRY, KISS) and SOLID principles. Exposure to secure coding is
beneficial.
15. Proficiency with full stack software development and strong understanding of Data Structures, resilient services
Responsibilities:
Specify, propose and present innovative solutions and lead high-quality end-to-end solution/ technical architecture
and design.
Collaborate closely with development team and designers and other stack holders to generate ideas and creative
solutions to problems.
Document and consolidate architectural decisions, technical user story and technical designs via documentation
and UML diagrams.
Prototype, evaluate and recommend the most suitable platform.
Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
Keep Refactoring principles going as we evolve on architecture and design.
Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
Review all critical functionality & test code. Help Teams in removing bottlenecks.
Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
Researches the latest in industry trends along with the needs of the organization while also being a strong advocate
for flexible and robust technology.
Experiments and provides proof of concept with emerging technologies, while developing architectures, standards,
design guides, processes, and other reference guides in a leadership role.
Soft Skills:
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Thought leadership skills to influence stakeholders on architectural designs, and team members on the right choice of technology.
