Roles and Responsibilities

• Accurately code physician practitioner services through review of medical record documentation and encounter forms for Outpatient facility
• Assign CPT procedure codes, ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and modifiers based on documentation, government teaching physician documentation requirements and LCD/NCD/ NCCI policies
• Should have working experience in all the SDS/Ambulatory Surgery (ASC) procedures (10021-69990 CPT series)
• Understand the client requirements and specifications of the project
• Ensure that deliverable to the client is adhered to the quality standards and productivity TAT

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduation, life science background preferably Bio-Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Microbiology, Physiotherapist, Pharmacy and Nursing
• Minimum of 3 years performing Physician coding along with CPT & ICD-10 guidelines, conventions etc
• Should be COC/CPC certified through AAPC/AHIMA
• Software/Platform preference-Working experience in 3M, Optum EncoderPro & Cerner (Power chart)
• Strong knowledge in anatomy and physiology
• Willing to work for Rotational shifts
