Min Year of Exp: 6-7+ Yrs
Location:Kolkata/Bangalore (Prefer Kolkata)
Reporting To -Sr Tech Lead / Product owner / Global track leads (Mostly all are above the experience level the candidates is hired)
Compensation:9L to 12L / based on skill and performance / level of current work streams.
Job Description / Job Objectives:
As a Sr. Software Engineer at Turbot, you will join an exciting, fast-paced, rapidly growing team of technologists focused on reimagining the way that IT Operations are delivered for software defined infrastructure in the public cloud.
A Turbot Software Engineer is a Cloud, DevOps, DevSecOps and Turbot subject matter expert delivering highly scalable and reliable software in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud. You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge. You will play a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.
Experience:
- Coding experience is MUST
- Total up to 6+ yrs of experience
- Minimum of 3 yrs of experience as full stack developer in the mentioned technologies (refer skill section)
- 3+ yrs knowledge on Cloud Technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure).Understanding of well architected cloud architecture and distributed systems with integration knowledge.
- Hands on experience with troubleshooting / debugging
- Highly motivated to work for a fast growing start up company.
- Clear communication skills (English) for working with global teams from USA, UK, AUS & INDIA
- Works independently (self starter and independent learner), leads the delivery by owning it and motivated to innovate more than given use case.
- Create/Support/Adopt well-informed product cloud strategy, roadmap and manage the adoption process.
- Leading team of more than 5 people / deliverables & helping them to drive the product release cycle, with responsibility to lead stand-ups & reports.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Experienced in driving DevOps culture.
- Experience with operational processes (supporting customers on a product/service)
- Ability to define and document operational processes.
- Understanding of infrastructure and network fundamentals.
- Experience developing for and supporting and maintaining a 24/7 production environment. (preferred)
- Experience with scripting languages such as Javascript, Python or any other scripting language as full stack developer
- Full Stack development experience in Node JS platform
- Knowledge on CloudFormation Script or Terraform automation script for various cloud infra automation will be most helpful.
- Experience in Web Service API integrations, Json, YML, Node JS libraries, version control system (GitHub preferred)
- If the above tech stack is missing, then considerable Strong Java/.Net background development experience, ready to work with the different technologies mentioned above.
- Any public facing GitHub repository, which provides & explains your skill contributions will be helpful for the evaluation process.
