* 6+ years of experience in a similar individual contributor role..
* 3+ yrs. in AWS system administration.
* Experience in using monitoring tools.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable work experience is acceptable for this position.
* Experience with AWS is a must..
* Experience with Docker, ECS, Fargate, Kubernetes, microservices, message queues and related technologies.
* A strong Linux or Unix background.
* Experience with some form of CI/CD such as Jenkins.
* Experience working with APIs, specifically REST APIs, SDKs and CLI tools.
* Experience working with multi-format files like JSON, XML, CSV, Flat, etc.
* Experience with AWS networking, VPN and Active directory is preferred.
* Experience with AWS Cloud security principles is preferred.
* Knowledge of Git, Jira, Confluence, Slack in an agile environment is preferred. * Implemented several software application or Data projects.
* Broad knowledge of the following: LAMP stack, .Nety, Python scripting, Git highly desirable.
* Good Experience in migration from On-Prem to Public Cloud.
* Should be familiar with Robocopy and Rsync.
* Should have knowledge on different migration methodologies.
* SSL/TLS Certificate fundamentals.
* Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB is preferred.
* AWS Solution Architect certified or AWS SysOps Administrator is required.
* AWS professional or specialty certified is preferred. AWS Engineer/Administrator is responsible to perform a number of activities on a daily basis and will be involved in the day to day activities in cloud management. AWS admin day to day activities includes the following:
* Ensuring the level of fault tolerance on the basis of business needs.
* Monitoring and managing billing and cost optimization processes; Tagging.
* Monitoring performance and availability of the applications on the AWS platform.
* Optimization of the environment for ensuring maximum performance.
* Identification of potential issues on the given application deployment.
* Provisioning cloud resources and managing implementation automation.
* Creating backups for different AWS services and applications.
* Identifying the performance of bottlenecks and implementing the remedies.
* Managing disaster recovery processes and procedures for backups.
* Implementation and management of security policies.
* Ensuring access controls and data integrity while using the AWS platform.
* Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems in AWS..
* Administer and migrate workloads from our on-premise data center to the AWS cloud environment..
* Implement AWS solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, EBS, IAM, SNS, SQS, SWF, Route 53, Application Load Balancer, Code Deploy, Jenkins, Elastic File System, Direct Connect, Cloud Watch, VPC, Security Groups, CloudFront, Cloud Trail, Auto Scaling Groups, etc..
* Build environments using automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Cloud Formation/Terraform and Ansible/Puppet).
