Work Experience & Domain Knowledge :

Overall 2 to 3 years of experience in Data Warehouse Big Data Testing Experience with data testing in complex ETL or Data warehouse environment involving Big Data Framework Hadoop (Spark, HBase, HDFS ,Kafka etc) Big Data Testing on Hadoop, Hive, etc., using HiveQL, MapReduce or other big data technologies for automated validation

Strong knowledge in Data warehouse concept. Experience in writing complex SQL queries such as joins and aggregations on No SQL databases such as HBase, Mongo db etc.

Good to have knowledge on Informatica and basic Unix commands.

Experience in Data Warehouse, Database, ETL & BI testing

Role & Responsibilities : Experience in end-to-end ETL or database testing(Data Lake) for medium to large sized IT projects of varying complexity Responsible for creating & executing data driven test strategy and test cases for complex data transformation pipeline for Big Data received from heterogeneous sources Write complex SQL queries such as joins and aggregation to test data transformation logic Leading a defect triage meeting to having command over defect cause, priority, severity and remediation Validation of data reaching to Kafka and hive from multiple source system by writing hive QL queries.
