Desired Candidate Profile
For Chief Engineers, the incumbent should be a graduate in B.E/B.tech Marine Engineer with minimum 60 months of sailing experience. MEO class I competency. Along with good communication skills.
For Naval Architect position, the incumbent should be B.E. / B.Tech Naval Architect from premium institutes with 4-6 of production/shipyard experience.
For Marine Engineer position, the incumbent should be B.E./B.Tech Marine Engineer from reputed institutes with minimum 2 years of sailing experience as 3rd or 4th engineer.
The responsibility includes the following;
- Conducting Ship Surveys / New Construction Surveys
- Inspection of Marine Components
- Allied Inspections and Surveys as per IRS rules and regulations
