Position: Area Sales Manager for a Bangalore based Hospital Consumable Company.
Position Code: TCMCC.06.11.2020
Location: Positions are based at major towns in South India
Vacancies: 15 (Fifteen)
Experience:
Should have at least 5 years sales managerial experience, in a medium d company in any industry (e.g. Hospital equipment, FMCG, FMCD, Telecom, Banking and Financial Services Industry).
Field experience of successful launch of new products preferred.
Education: Applicants should hold any Bachelor's degree. Candidates with additional qualifications and certifications preferred.
Age: 27 to 33 years
Linguistic abilities:
Should be able to speak fluently in the State language (Tamil/Kannada/Malayalam/Telugu) where posted. Should be proficient in English and ability to speak in Hindi is preferred.
Span of control: 5 to 12 Business Development Executives (similar to Medical representatives)
Reporting to: Sales Manager (State Head)
Selection process: 4 rounds interviews + 4 online psychometric assessments + Group discussions + Medical test + Reference check

Job responsibilities:
1.Gather Market Intelligence and Communicate with HO and Team.
2.Plan and Achieve Area Sales Targets.
3.Coach Business Development Executives to plan their Product mix, Customer mix and Daily Grid Plan/Monthly Tour plan with Resources Plan.
4.Develop Local Sales Strategy for Penetrating to Key Accounts by involving BDE and Stockists.
5.Provide On the Job Training to Customers and Business Development Executives to demonstrate the products and educate all stakeholders on the benefits of the products and services.
6.Channel Partner Management & Development.
7.Key Customer Relationship Management.
8.Implementation of Organizational Marketing Strategy and Campaigns.
9.Ensure adherence of team to Company Policies and Organizational Values.
10.Play an active role in promotional activities in Industry exhibitions and Continuing Medical Education Programs for Surgeons, Internal Business Meetings and Training Programs.
11.Collaboration with Product Management team, Learning & Development team and Supply Chain Management team for ensuring timely flow of relevant information about products, customer feedback, resolving customer complaints, marketing strategy implementation, promotional campaigns etc.
12.Team Management and Leadership.
Professional development:
There will be induction programs (2 weeks each) in Bangalore in February 2021 and in March / April 2021.
Company believes in providing individual attention to the learning and professional growth of managers and employees. Continuous learning and development initiatives will be provided at regular intervals for the managers and employees based on their progress in the company.
There will be regular On the Job Training and Coaching provided for the managers by Medical Officers, Product Managers, Learning and Development Managers and Professional Consultants.
Career growth:
Based on sales performance as well as developing self and team members in first 6 to 12 months, some of the Area Sales Managers will be considered for getting elevated to Sales Manager (State Head level). Performers can expect rapid job promotions (from 2021 to 2030) in this new company with expansion plans.
Compensation: Would match with competence, business track record and industry standards (Salary + Incentives almost equal to Salary+ Allowances to cover the field work expenses).
