Roles and Responsibilities

• He/She primarily functions as a specialist on Python scripting and accessing database using python APIs
• programming skills as mentioned in key skills and good understanding of additional skills
• Work closely with other business systems analysts, global process owners, management, project managers, development team, and infrastructure team as required on projects and initiatives
• Participate and provide support during application / product validation activities.
• Coordinate with functional teams, development teams, and project managers for end user acceptance & product deployment activities
• Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
• Establish suitable stakeholder networks in functional areas & manage them effectively with good communication.

Qualification & Experience Engineering or IT graduate with 7+ years of experience in Primary skills

1. Python scripting

2. Linux

3. Unix Shell /bash Scripting a good understanding of DB connections through Shell

4. MySQL / Oracle 12c database knowledge

5. PHP

6. Good Knowledge on writing MySQL queries and understanding of Database procedures.

7. Knowledge of running scripts on Server

8. Normalization and DB schema awareness

9. Data Extract, transform and load.

Additional skill on following if available

• Knowledge of batch scripting
• Perl scripting
• Coding/programming skills to deal with old techno BOT and maintain it in operations/ adapt to official IT environment changes.
• Database tools knowledge (Ex: coreAll, Skywise)
• Very strong organization, problem solving, debugging and interpersonal skills Strong awareness and experience with Waterfall / Agile/ SAFe project methodologies.
