We are looking for an experienced Paid Campaign Strategist to help grow the ION client community by driving campaigns, including search, display, and paid social. Youll work with our Digital Marketing Director and our talented teams of designers, developers, and writers on campaigns that drive website traffic and sales .
Your role and responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and implement paid digital campaigns across search, display, video, and social networks.
- Create a system and schedule for continuously testing ad variations across all our paid campaigns.
- Track our paid marketing efforts from the initial acquisition to the final deal conversion using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
- Define standard performance metrics to measure return on investment.
- Track key performance indicators, find issues, produce management reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights.
- Identify and refine keywords.
- Write and edit copy for ads and landing pages.
- Adjust bid strategies.
- Monitor spending to ensure campaigns stay within budget
- Review media for compliance with ad specs.
- Manage scheduling and asset collection across all campaign types.
- Work with our teams to deliver special requests as needed.
- Communicate our paid campaign initiatives, recommendations, and metrics to team members and management.
Your skills, experience, and qualifications
At least 5 years experience in a comprehensive paid campaign execution role, setting up, managing, and optimizing paid campaigns across various platforms. This experience should include:
- Creating basic campaign structures.
- Researching keywords and targeting.
- Copy-writing.
- Advanced targeting.
- Optimizing bids and budgets.
- Maximizing the conversion rates for ads and landing pages.
- Experience of creating high-converting landing pages using advanced conversion-rate optimization techniques.
- Expert knowledge of paid campaign best practices, techniques, and trends.
- A solid understanding of performance marketing and online customer acquisition.
- Experience of implementing end-to-end tracking for paid campaigns.
- A basic understanding of search engine optimization and how it relates to paid campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with B2B paid campaigns with long sales cycles.
- Advanced experience integrating paid campaigns with marketing automation systems like Eloqua and SAP Marketing Cloud.
- Advanced knowledge of search-engine optimization.
- Experience creating visual designs for ads, Apps and tools
- Direct experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Experience with keyword research, competitive insights, and other data and research tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, SEMrush, or Spyfu.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Bachelors degree in digital marketing or a related field.
