There is an ongoing requirement for Associate & Senior Medical Coder: Surgery Coding position with Advantum Health

Roles and Responsibilities :

Responsible for the coordination and management of coding for multiple clients.

Monitoring and assurance of timely and accurate coding of all accounts.

Interacting with US Coding Managers, create project plan, new client onboarding plan, and roll
out plan.

Mentor coding staff to meet and improve QA score and productivity.

Ambulatory Surgery Coding & Inpatient coding experience etc.

Ambulatory Surgery Coding & Inpatient coding experience etc.

CPC Certification is a must.

Assigning ICD and CPT codes based on the medical records provided following Payor guidelines and client specification.

Responsible assigning codes and maintaining minimum 98% accuracy and achieving 100% productivity goals.

Responsible for direct client reporting on Coding queries, denials and errors.

Training coders on Surgery Coding, if required.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Minimum 2+ years of medical coding experience in professional fee and facility
coding (Surgical, ED, E&M, Radiology, Ortho).

CPC, CCS & HCC Certified.
