What You"ll Do
- Design, develop, edit, and produce technical and deployment
- documentation such as, online help, user guides, getting started guide, and API guides
- Define training needs and create training guides and use SOTIs products to learn and gain expertise before writing the documentation
- Work closely with engineering, product and QA teams to ensure quality and accuracy of content
- Evaluate the documentation needs for all SOTIs products and estimate, plan, and track documentation projects
- Regularly report the progress, roadblocks, and concerns to the team
- Schedule reviews with multiple stakeholders and be the Voice of the User within the company
- Work independently and with limited supervision
- Researching and defining terminology that is aligned with SOTI communication tone and voice
Experience You'll Bring
- 5+ years as a technical writer
- Knowledge of DITA XML or other XML languages such as DocBook.
- Ability to express complex information in a clear and precise manner
- Comfortable and effective with remote team collaboration and Passionate about Mobile and IoT technology
- Experience of working in Agile-Scrum software development methodology and experience in mobile, Cloud, client-server, or other enterprise technologies
- Experience in or knowledge of Enterprise Mobility Management or Mobile Device Management is a plus
- Comfortable with B2B concepts and communication
- Familiarity with DITA Open Toolkit, HTML language, XML editors such as XML Copy Editor & Raster editors such as GIMP
- Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word & Atlassian JIRA Project Management Software
Education:
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
