Job Description-
- Inspection of Incoming Material.
- Development of QAP, Field Quality Assurance Mechanical, Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Welder performance qualification (WPQ), Welder Continuity Records, Quality plan, Procedures, check lists, welding plan, Heat chart.
- Welding process such as SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW, Field Fabrication & Erection Activities, i.e Expansion Joint, Ring Girder, Pipeline/Penstock etc.
- Inspection at all stages beginning from raw material identification to final testing.
- Review, Quality related documents such as Standard Inspection Procedures, Inspection Test Plans, Checklists, Instrument Calibration Certificates.
- Inspection of Cutting, Bending, Fit Up, Dimensions, pre-welding, in-process welding and post welding operations and associated variables for Butt, Fillet on materials such as CS, SS, etc.,
- Control of NDT/DT & Other Testing Activities such as Visual, DPT, MPI, UT, PMI, Macro, dimension inspection, Hydro test etc.
- Verifying of Welder certificates, Machine Calibration Certificates and all measuring instrument certificates.
- Customer Complaint Handling: Deal with customer complaints, information to drive multi Department. to do the investigation and complete root cause analysis and corrective actions; Submit reports to customers until they are satisfied.
- Able to read GA & Assembly Drawings, Aware with Codes/Standards such as ASME & AWS.
- Should be able to deal with client & manage all internal & external inspection activities.
