Qualifications:
Bachelors Engineering degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology

Professional Certifications
CCNP Collaboration Certified, ITIL (Preferable CCIE)

ITIL Certified

Experience
Telecom Industry: 6+ Year

Hands-on Infrastructure Management: Incident, Problem, Fault, Release, Change Management

Skills and Qualifications

Experience in Cisco collaboration technologies (CUCM, Unity, IM&P, CUBE, CMS, TMS, Expressway, Cisco Prime Collaboration)

Advanced troubleshooting skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Duties

  • Work in shifts and provides after-hour and weekend on call support when required. Participate in a 24x7 call-out rota as per the shift schedule
  • Assign trouble tickets to self and provide resolution to know issues.
  • QoS for Voice / Vedio and Collaboration quality service
  • Incident Management Trouble Shoot and solve cases with in time SLA
  • Problem management Advance Trouble shooting with Technology / vendors
  • Reassign trouble tickets to other departments based on nature of problem.
  • Escalate the trouble tickets to level 3 as per SLA
  • Update customer status of problem resolution as per SLA
  • Maintain the Voice and networks under management
  • Proactive network monitoring and alarm handling/ alarm enrichment / alarm optimization
  • Availability monitoring of Network Management Systems
  • Provide regular updates on incident handling/ or to request on site support
  • Perform network diagnostics to isolate the root cause of faults
  • Ticket logging for network faults; ticket classification and ticket assignment; logging timely troubleshooting progress updates in the ticket with timestamps
  • Change management; Ensure all network changes are planned approved and scheduled with prior notice and conducted as per the change management process after informing the respective stake holders
  • Provide support for Emergency Change Management to ensure business continuity and critical service delivery
  • Voice / Network Inventory Management; Validating that all the existing and newly deployed devices are added to the respective Network Management Systems
  • Maintain up to date technical documentation of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations.
  • Proactively focus on development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration
