Job Description

Main accountabilities

  • Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting DWBI protocols including rational prescription of medicines
  • Follow strict infection prevention and control protocol during and post patient care (PPE -Personal Protective Equipment, will be provided to all staff working in the treatment facilities and training will be provided to ensure the staffs are able to carry out their daily tasks)
  • Follow the duty roster as set by the line manager. Follow proper communication channels in DWBI and with DWBI partners.
  • Keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood
  • In case of any comorbidities , ensure proper management with expert opinion from Specialists
  • To maintain proper records and proper documentation of patient details in patient files and also participate in epidemiological data collection for COVID cases as required
  • Participate and update knowledge and skills in this fast evolving situation of COVID as well as conduct trainings if needed
  • Ensure strict confidentiality during patient consultants.
  • To be flexible in gap-filling or participating in any other activities of the project
  • To be available on call when required
  • To be a team player to coordinate and collaborate with other departments of the project and fellow colleagues
  • To be flexible to rotate all interventions of the project.

Benefits (Non-negotiable)

Monthly Gross Salary: INR 92,382 and

Secondary Benefits (pro rata) as per policies:

Qualifications: MBBS degree

MCI/ Maharashtra Medical Council registration mandatory

Experience: 2 year experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training).

ICU experience if present is an added advantage

Duration: Until end of March 2021 (Renewable depending upon project needs)

Due to the current lockdown and the urgency of this position, it is important that applicants live in or around Mumbai. We arrange transportation for our staff.
