Job Description
Responsible for providing first level support to Desktops, Laptops, Printers (Network and Standalone), and telecom devices related, business and functional applications related incidents /Service requests.
Responsible to diagnose, verify, record and report equipment/hardware acts, system non - performance or downtime, and Software errors.
Responsible for configuration of desktop / laptop / printer configuration and application/software installation / transfer as per client guidelines
Responsible to facilitate installation, Movement, addition, or change related to Desktop/laptop/Printers. Asset Executive to supervise all such activities, desktop engineers to coordinate for capturing the details of such movement to have inventory streamlined.
Responsible for coordination with Vendors / Internal client partners to resolve incidents/ service requests reported to helpdesk till closure and as per IT helpdesk database guidelines.
Antivirus/ Patch management / Local user access management as per IT security guidelines.
Perform audit of Desktop and Laptop as per IT security requirement and mitigate the observation if any. The audit must be performed not less than 10% of production laptops and desktops.
End to end coordination to facilitate Telepresence / Video Conferencing requirements from end-users.
Engineers must ensure to be complaint while updating the inputs/status for updating the service request/incident ticket.
Infrastructure Management Support
Strong communication skills to interact with international teams.
