Job Description

Position :- Project Manager

Location :- Varanasi,Uttar Pradesh

Experience Required :- Minimum 5 Years 

CTC :- Upto 4 LPA

Job Profile :

1. Responsible for overall management of the organic farming project sanctioned to SIMFED in the district of Varanasi,Uttar Pradesh.

2. Finalizing project requirements and specifications in consultation with senior management as well as project scheduling including material & manpower planning in the district.

3. Coordinating and managing all activities to ensure completion of project within the time schedule & cost parameters with effective resource utilization to maximize the output.

4. To ensure compliance and carry out all the activities as per PKVY and PGS India guidelines.

5. Identification of organic cluster, farmers, crop and varieties that may be responsive to the organic practices in the region.

6. Supervise and monitor all activities of field staff across the region. Oversee the team to organize resources, sets goals and track performance on regular intervals.

7. Arrange, prepare and submit requisite periodical progress reports i.e., monthly, quarterly in respect of project activities under implementation to Head Office well in time.

8. Planning and management of the implementation of various interventions under concerned department, liaising with different agencies and other stakeholders.

9. Coordinate/organize field visits to the project sites for the inspection teams of State Govt/Departs. or any such agency which has direct or indirect relationship with the projects under implementation.

10. To facilitate the formation of organic FPOs/Company in the clusters and support market linkage activities of organic certified product of the farmers.

11. To provide necessary technical assistance to the farmers/group of farmers about organic farming and its value addition like grading, packing, labeling, branding & marketing of certified organic produce.

12. Any other work as assigned by the Management.
