Job Description

Technical, Business & Role Skills:

Strictly adhere to ITIL compliances in Service delivery.

Basis representation with clear documentation for change meetings.

Ensure Successful DB and Log Backups

Oracle Tablespace Administration and Space Management

SAP System Refreshes as per the project requirements.

Support on-going projects in Basis readiness.

Quick and clear response to client teams on any Basis requests.

Interact with all other IT teams e.g. AWS, Infrastructure, Network and OS in analyzing end to end root cause finding for complex performance issues.

Daily health checks and review of SAP KPIs to make the preventive measures for avoiding unwanted business downtimes.

Analyze DB growth and come up with recommendations on Data Volume Management and Archiving needs.

Regular study of the Oracle DB parameter, Oracle SAP Bundle Patch related notes and highlight the need for DB patches or upgrades.

Research all the SAP Hot News release notes and alert Customer with the recommended actions for the landscape.

Regular review of the kernel and support pack related notes and highlight the need for SAP Kernel and Support pack upgrades.

Keep researching new tools / solutions and make recommendations to customer on needed implementations.

Gain knowledge on next generation SAP Products and be ready for upcoming projects / upgrade

Activities to Perform:

Act as SAP Basis focal point and own Client Satisfaction from SAP Basis delivery perspective

Own incident, problem, and change management in all levels for SAP Basis area across all products e.g. ERP, APO, CRM, Biller Direct, GRC, Gateway, ABRIX, Solution Manager, Content Management and Oracle

Support for SAP invoking OS level scripts to encrypt and transfer data between remote vendors and banks etc
