We are pleased to inform you that Cerner is looking for an Associate Lead Software Engineer for our growing development business unit. As an Associate Lead Software Engineer, you are responsible to analyze, design, code, debug, test, and modify new software or enhancements while considering software abilities. In this role, you will be providing technical direction to a team and ensuring that quality applications are developed to meet specified business needs. Also, you must have a thorough understanding of requirements and a deep understanding of software engineering domains. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and lead efforts to automate as much of the lifecycle as possible. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor and train new associates within the team and our training programs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
At least 5 years of work experience with Java & C++ working on large frameworks and codebases Preferred Qualifications:

At least 5 years of work experience with JavaScript, SQL, Python or Ruby
At least 5 years of work experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
