The role:
We are looking for Cloud Security Engineer with good experience in monitoring and improving DevSec Ops tools and processes, automate routine tasks and improve system reliability. This person also will play a critical role in providing technical support for day-to-day security operations, security tool integration, automation support, change management and business continuity program.
What you will do:
- Strong technical understanding and prior experience in Information security, specifically in cloud infrastructure, endpoint security, vulnerability and patch management
- Assist in monitoring of information security alerts, events & conducting security assessments Experience triaging, managing, and responding to information security alerts
- Prior knowledge of SIEM would be an added advantage.
- Primary point of contact for endpoint security, including (Trend Micro, Alert Logic) tool administration, secure baseline configuration, and forensics
- Ensuring continuous compliance with standards such as PCI, SOC2, ISO etc
- Exposure to concepts of Data Leakage, Application threats, hacking and its counter measures would be an added advantage.
- Support and conduct internal audits, help mitigate findings and implement improvement measures.
- Identify, integrate, monitor and improve infosec controls by understanding business processes.
- Work in support of the Senior Information Security Engineer enhancing the security direction for the organization including systems, networks, user services and vendor development efforts.
- Install, configure, manage, and maintain mission-critical enterprise applications such as AV, patching, log management and other technical controls.
- Passionate about endpoint security including endpoint protection, zero-day threats, advanced persistent threats, data loss prevention and compliance.
- Drives security issues through to closure by engaging all appropriate resources. Provides guidance and recommended solutions to complex technical issues.
- Handle security incidents and provide high-level support related to End point Security solutions Performs complex and routine maintenance updates for endpoint security products.
- Ensures all maintenance is properly validated to minimize the impact.
- Troubleshoot security system and related issues.
- Assist with complex projects and ongoing support of security operations.
What you should have:
- 4+ years of experience in Enterprise Security Experience.
- Endpoint Security experience
- Experience with Trend Micro, SIEM and DLP products a plus
- Must have proficiency with scripting languages (Batch scripting, Python and Ansible)
- Operational knowledge of Operating System and basic networking. Experience with HIDS / AV / EDR solutions
- Strong linux command line/ Terminal experience Good background with Windows operating systems
- Good communicator able to analyses and clearly articulate complex issues Great design and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable, proactive and driven to take ownership Keen attention to detail and high level of commitmentMust have experience in Monitoring and improve.
- DevSecOps tools and processes, automate routine tasks, improve system reliability and should be from the strong information security background.
- Must have hand on experience with Linux/Unix systems.
- Must have experience in drafting info security guidelines, controls and checklist.
- Exceptional problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
