Job Description

We have a fulltime position for a Sr. Software Engineer in our Ahmedabad office. The successful candidate will be responsible to:

• Design and develop web applications using Java/J2EE as the programing languages and using Eclipse as the development tools and environments.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Work with outside data sources and APls.
• Work with RESTful APls to connect web applications to back-end services.
• Write design documents, source code, and unit test case documents. 

Knowledge and skills applied:

• Knowledge of Agile development approach
• MVC frameworks
• Eclipse IDE
• Client-server based applications
• Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JPA
• HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, Angular JS, Node JS
• RDBMS systems like MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle
• REST web services
• Source control and code review tools like SVN, Git & Gerrit.
• Industry standard data format like XML, JSON for different web applications
• Various Linux OS like CentOS, Redhat
• Cloud provider like AWS/Google/Azure
• Build tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Information Systems/Computer Applications/Computer Science with 3+ years of experience.
