Job Description
The incumbent should be a BE / B.Tech Mechanical with minimum of 10 years experience in Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Pharma industry in Engineering / Mechanical Maintenance department, with a minimum of three to seven years in managerial / leadership positions.
Note: Candidate must speak Tamil.
Preferable Age Group: 30 - 42 Job Description:
- Preventive Break-down maintenance of different plant equipment.
- Manpower utilization related to plant maintenance.
- Monitoring of documentation related to daily data entry in System in Plant Maintenance Module.
- Keeping and timely analysis of preventive maintenance breakdown maintenance data.
- Legal requirements related to fired /pressure vessels and other installations.
- Prepare CAPEX. Generate & review process flow diagrams, P & I diagram, equipment layout plan, equipment GA drawings, detailed engineering drawings and piping isometrics for capacity augmentation, revamping, infrastructure, asset replacement, energy saving and other cost saving projects.
- Implement energy saving programme in the organization.
- Finalisation of technical specifications for new capital equipment, Support HO projects by providing bill of material & procurement of material. Planning, scheduling & execution for successful delivery of project in terms of quality, cost & time adhering to safety standards.
- Exposure in Handling of MSGL equipment, RVD, ANF and pumps with Mechanical seals, SS reactors, Ejector system, Blower, Gear boxes.
- Ensure availability of critical spares, just in time purchase of general spares & reduction in inventory carrying cost.
- Ensure compliance of ISO 9001:2015 & /SO 14001: 2015 & OHSAS 18001:2015 systems.
- Vendor selection, reviewing sub-supplier documents / data for compliance with specifications. Look into commercial aspects of contracts and budgets.
- Focussed improvement, technology updation & automation to reduce manual work & ease in process operations.
- People Development - Training engineering team to improve skill sets and contribute ideas.
