Mixed Signal - Test Lead
An American technology corporation that designs and manufactures analog chips various Ics used by electronics designers and manufacturers globally.
What can you expect in this role(Opportunity)
- To develop capability to work effectively in a technically challenging fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- To work in cutting edge ATE technologies - ETS800 , ETS364 ETS88.
- To learn and develop probe solutions on ETS800, ETS364 platforms.
- To work on Test characterisation of processor based fixed function motor controller devices with integrated HV analog.
- To work on Test Characterisation of feature rich, high accuracy, high voltage motor drivers with integrated or on-board power FETs.
- To work on future road map devices that includes single phase BLDC and other exciting technologies.
- To define, as a team, long-term test and validation roadmap of capabilities, automation flows and methodologies to continuously improve productivity.
- To learn methodical device debugging, design validation and failure analysis techniques
- To learn TI NPDE process, Qualification and Manufacturing flows.
- To learn develop keen business insights , drive open discussions with business leaders and drive decisions impacting Test implementation execution
- To build strong, influential relationships with domain experts across geographies.
- To develop good communication, interpersonal skills while interacting with worldwide cross functional experts
- To learn identifying risks across domains and adapt to support changing priorities
- To present analysis and conclusions to internal customers and Product-line leaders in a comprehensive and effective manner.
- To mentor junior engineers and interns.
What is expected of you in this role(Responsibilities)
- As Test Characterisation Lead for a project/s you are expected:
- To learn develop an understanding of the fundamental motor drive technology, control algorithm the device internal features/implementation.
- To create highly optimized test plans, tester methods capable of porting across Tester/prober platform
- To develop test probe hardware, develop corresponding software automation.
- To implement the same for Mixed Signal ICs to meet test cost goals and deliver solutions on time
- To prove out new capability at cost entitlement.
- To run characterisation, develop support qualification programs, offload these to AT sites drive to RTM.
- To trouble shoot test, yield, quality, and device performance issues .Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time
- To work with wafer fabrication, assembly test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality.
- To work closely with design and verification team upfront and during the silicon evaluation and debug.
- To ensure close tracking timely closure and documentation of validation plans and reports. Maintain thorough and up-to-date project schedules with all related milestones
- To freely engage in bench validation. Collaborate in debug brain storming.
- To understand how the Validation plan and infrastructure for new product development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Very Good understanding of mixed signal device fundamentals.
- Very Good knowledge on test and measurement equipments.
- Analog product test debug experience in ATE or Bench Validation.
- Good engineering statistics and distribution analysis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience on ETS800/ETS364 tester platform is a added qualification.
