Job description: Sr.Network Engineer / BigFix Engineer admin - (7-15yrs)

Education : B.E/B.tech Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Experince levels : 7- 15 years of experience with the following skill set

• BigFix experience
• centralized Windows patch management experience
• Windows server/workstation experience
• with CIS benchmarks
• with PCI audits / remediating vulnerability scan items
• securing/hardening windows systems
• advanced windows Active Directory group policy experience
• Powershell experience (automate tasks, AD cleanup, software installs, automating file transfers, O365 management, etc)
• PKI experience
• Knowledge of various IT operating systems and platforms (Windows, Linux, VMWare), mobility technology (Apple iOS and Android devices)
• Working knowledge in multiple architecture domains (technology, data etc.)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, patching, and managing BigFix on Windows
• Experience architecting and building enterprise endpoint management solutions using BigFix
• Experience and familiarity with technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy/GPO, BigFix/SCCM, VMware, and PowerShell
• Must possess excellent time-management and organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, and experience maintaining technical data and documentation
• Desired BigFix module experience: Asset Discovery - Software Usage and Analysis - Operating System Deployment and Bare Metal Imaging - Power Management - Remote Control - Software Distribution - Server Automation - Security and Compliance (SCA) - Vulnerability Management - Configuration Management - Patch Management
• Identifying new patches, update baselines fixlets
• Creating new custom fixlets, tasks and policy actions
• Installing, monitoring, maintaining, tuning, troubleshooting and upgrading IBM BigFix clients
• Create software packages, pushing and monitoring installation progress as well as troubleshoot systems which failed to installed patches. Troubleshoot communication issues between clients and relay servers with BigFix
• Perform day-to-day activities required to distribute application, software, patch packages using BigFix to end user hardware
• Create modify and customize Web Reports, performs administrative functions, including scheduling activities, managing filters, software versions, license information, software inventory
• Create custom fixlets, analyses, scripting and relevance language to deploy software installation/uninstallation
• Install software releases, OS system upgrades and troubleshoots for all OS/software issues.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and system documentation, including Visio diagrams.
