Job Role: Datacenter Network and Security Operations
Essentials:
In-depth knowledge on Datacenter Switches, Routers, Palo Alto Next-Gen Virtual firewalls, Cisco ASA.
Clear concepts on packet capture analysis, L2 and L3 traffic flows, TCP IP, Site to Site IPSEC VPN Tunnel, SSLVPN and network security
Understanding on VMware virtualization, e.g. VCenter, VSwitch, ESXi setup.
Understanding on Azure Express route and Carrier neutral facility.
Primary Skill-set:
Strong technical skills in Datacenter Switching & Routing.
Expertise Palo Alto/Cisco ASA firewall security.
Experience in leading, staffing and building a strong, effective team.
Specialized Skill-Set:
Should have hand-on experience in installation, maintain and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus switches, datacenter switches.
Should have hand-on experience in installation, maintain and troubleshooting Cisco ASA & Palo Alto firewall.
Should have hand-on experience with Palo Alto firewall management through Panorama.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage a Datacenter network Operations Team responsible for day today operation, and maintenance of network security appliances in multiple data center locations.
Handling Major circuital incidents and driving the call from technical aspect.
Handling Escalations and provide Technical RCA for critical incidents.
Define and document processes and best practices. Ensure they are communicated and followed by team.
Ensure Monitoring of all datacenter network infrastructure to Detect and proactively address issues to enable 100% operational uptime.
Monitor and report Operational status and measure against service level objectives.
Driving operational efficiency through automation.
Closely working with Architecture team to address vendor support related issues and any design related issues.
