Job Description
Build a tool for Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization & working capital planning.Establishing code-based pipelines for data processing and cleaning.
R Shiny web app development& further, deployment for different business modules.
Brings new product needs/ideas forward to enhance Product Development.
Forecasts for future inventory based on historical buys, seasonal patterns (Holidays, Promotions etc.)and current inventory levels.
Track existing product categories and help make strategic decisions on future state.
Additional Duties as Required.
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in R, R Shiny, Excel and other software programs.
Strong analytical& dashboarding skills. Ability to analyze and visualize data on tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
Experience in time series-based Forecasting algorithms such as ARIMA, FB prophet etc.
Knowledge of different types of Statistical / Machine Learning / AI techniques, and their business value for appropriate verticals.
Any past professional experience in predictive modelling/time-series analysisof retail/wholesale industrywould be preferred.
Excellent ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and under strictdeadlines.
Solid organizational, interpersonal and communicationskills.
