Job Description

General Summary

The Software Developer III UX/UI will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of new and existing applications. The ideal candidate will be a senior UI/UX Developer experienced in applying interactive and visual design principles as well as developing web applications optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and visual design
Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement enterprise scale solutions to support the organizations business strategy and goals.
Work closely with our business product owners on an Agile team to fully understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed.
Work with other engineers on a collaborative Agile team to deliver code on an ongoing basis.
Review requirements and data models and translate into responsible applications and architecture
Conduct design and code reviews with extended team to ensure that code meets FedEx standards
Track and resolve software defects
Support automated test execution including system level and integration tests CI/CD/CT
Education/Experience

Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Minimum 7 years of overall experience designing and development applications
Excellent experience in UI/UX design and development
Web Development Angular, Javascript, CSS, JSON, XML
Strong experience with Java, Spring, J2EE
Good knowledge of SQL and DB design
Experience using testing automation
Familiarity with version control tools like SVN, CSV, or Git.
Experience/Skills considered to be a plus:

Knowledge of containerization environment Docker/Kubernetes.
Knowledge in using OAuth or JWT to secure API.
Understanding of Message Queues and Topics.
Understanding of agile principles and methodologies.
Object Oriented Design and Development experience
Physical/Cognitive Requirements

Ability to follow policies and procedures.
Ability to read, write and interpret information.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
