Software Sr Engineer - Hyderabad @ Wells Fargo

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

Drives and participates in design, development, and implementation of large and complex application, owning your solution through implementation.
Design, develop, and deliver production-grade, reusable, scalable, and well-architected solutions using Python and/or Scala programming languages.
Works closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs, and that test plans and scripts meet customer needs.
Perform end-to-end data pipeline testing by consistently measuring solution delivery against model development best practices and standards for performance efficiency, flexibility, and optimization.
Works with developers and business partners to understand application defects, performance problems, and data anomalies.
Creates a roadmap for implementation of various data preparation activities for model team and troubleshoots data questions.
Drives requirements and design discussions in Agile methodologies. Required Qualifications:

10 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
7+ years of Apache Spark design and development experience using Scala, Java, Python or Data Frames with Resilient Distributed Datasets (RDDs)
6+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design
8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting
5+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map
5+ years of experience with data manipulation, cleansing, and transformation
Desired Qualifications:
A Bachelor s degree or higher in information technology
7 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI or Angular JS)
7+ years of Big Data experience
Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
