Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify new and significant business opportunities in the Chemicals & Process industry segments encompassing all of Bureau Veritas service and product offerings
- Define Sales KPIs for Chemicals & Process business within the Business & strategic plan.
- Work with Product Managers of Chemicals & Process Business to establish sales strategies for their product lines
- Manage (functionally or operationally) several accounts of the Chemicals & Process business segment and devise plans to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge
- Coordinate closely with NSMs of the BLs to identify, target and convert business opportunities in the Chemicals & Process segment for any and all of BV services.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business & directly manage some key accounts.
- Lead solution development efforts that best address market & client needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary stakeholders
- Define Marketing actions to be launched (events, mailings, newsletters), develop specific documents for his/her market, and coordinate with marketing teams for promotional activities.
- Market Intelligence: Keep well informed on industry changes & trends, competitor analysis & participate in external events directly involved with our prime markets.
- Specific Projects : as and when required by SAR Management
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy
Desired Candidate Profile
The job incumbent is responsible for Market and Business Development for New Products & Services in the strategic markets & initiatives in the Chemicals and Process business segment
Qualification and Experience
- Any Graduate Engineer & MBA in Marketing from any recognised University.
- At least 12-15 years of core experience in business development, preferably in the Chemicals & Process industries
- Operational knowledge in the Chemicals & Process industries will be added advantage
- Experience in professional services industry is preferred.
- Proven ability to keep multiple teams aligned while executing organizational initiatives.
- Broad knowledge of marketing campaign management including digital, collateral, reporting and analytics
